Dog Friendly

Dogs are welcome all year round in out pet friendly apartments - Grenville, Cornwallis, Effingham, Kingsmoor and Horatio.

The cafe and Castaways wine bar both have outdoor seating areas and Castaways welcome well behaved dogs inside too. Dogs are permitted all year round on the foreshore of the harbour and at a number of beaches nearby. There are also enough coastal paths, woodlands and fields to exhaust even the most energetic pooches, and their owners!  

There are a number of beaches open to dogs throughout the year but some are seasonal between Easter and the end of September.  Go to Visit Cornwall and download some useful information and a map.

Please note that dogs should never be left alone in the apartments and must bring their own beds and bowls.  There is a £25 charge for each dog with a maximum of 2 per apartment.
