Cornwall's gardens
Relatively nearby to Mylor are the sub-tropical gardens of Trelissick, Trebah and Glendurgan. All offer a unique and year-round display with jaw-dropping views of the area.
Further afield, a day trip to the famous Eden Project and the biomes is both exciting and educational for old and young. During the winter the events include ice skating and during the summer there are a number of live music gigs.
The Lost Gardens of Heligan are also well worth the trip over the King Harry Ferry and onto the Roseland. The gardens have a magical feel to them after being left at the end of the nineteenth century. In 1990, after a hurricane added to the devastation, a team of devoted gardeners unearthed what is now an amazing arrangement of gardens and plants.
